Jordan’s Second Biennial Update Report (SBUR) on Climate Change to the UNFCCC is officially launched  -  16/08/2021 It gives us great pride to work again hand in hand with the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Development Programme to produce Jordan’s Second Biennial Update Report. The Royal Scientific Society was the implementing entity contracted to lead the work with the participation of experts from different national entities. The Biennial Update Reports (BUR) are reports submitted by developing countries to the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to provide updates on actions undertaken by the country towards the implementation of the Convention objectives, including the status of GHG emissions and removals by sinks, as well as on the actions taken to reduce emissions or enhance sinks.
